Ethanol Production Process:

In our country, the ethanol production process is done from sugar beet due to its abundant cultivation.
One of the most cost-effective materials for ethanol production is sugar beet, and this process is called “ethanol production from molasses.” Although ethanol can also be produced from other materials such as dates, wheat, sugarcane, and others.

Description of the Alcohol Production Line:

At the beginning of the line, there are storage tanks for raw molasses, which is stored after adding certain compounds. Then comes the solution preparation stage, where molasses is mixed with water and other compounds in solution preparation tanks. After that, the fermentation stage occurs, where the resulting solution is fermented. The fermentation process varies depending on the type and alcohol percentage required. This process is carried out by fermenter devices or bioreactors in multiple stages. The solution is transferred to the fermenter using a pumping system.
The fermentation process starts by dissolving a specific amount of dry yeast in a special tank, then transferring it to the pre-fermenter, and the fermentation process continues until the fifth fermenter. The solution, after undergoing the fermentation process, enters a storage tank until it reaches the distillation stage, where this process is carried out continuously.
Ethanol concentration increases during the fermentation process, and then the distillation stage takes place. The distillation process involves six tray columns, where the separation and distillation processes take place. The final product after this process is medical alcohol, industrial alcohol, and alcohol oil. The stages and ethanol production process are described in the chart.

Ethanol Product Packaging and Storage Stage:

The alcohol is packed in bottles after preparation and stored in a warehouse under appropriate environmental conditions.
To measure the alcohol content, an alcohol meter is used.
Please note that only alcohol with a purity of 70% has disinfectant properties.
